Waiting for a government scheme payment that has not shown up in your bank account? In Odisha, most scheme money — Subhadra, CM-KISAN, Madhu Babu Pension, scholarships and more — is now paid by Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), straight into an Aadhaar-linked bank account. To find out where your money is, you need to check two things: whether your application was approved, and whether the payment actually reached your bank.
This guide explains how to check your Odisha scheme payment status in 2026 on each official portal, how to confirm that your bank account is ready to receive DBT, the common reasons money does not arrive, and where to complain if it is still missing.
Quick Answer
- Scheme portal first: check your status on the scheme’s own website — Subhadra, CM-KISAN, Madhu Babu Pension or the State Scholarship Portal.
- Then check the money: use the PFMS Know Your Payment page or Odisha Treasury’s Beneficiary’s Payment History with your bank account number, or simply check your passbook or bank SMS.
- Check Aadhaar seeding: DBT goes only to an Aadhaar-seeded account. See which bank your Aadhaar is linked to on myAadhaar (“Check Bank Seeding Status”).
- Keep ready: Aadhaar number, Aadhaar-linked mobile number (for OTP), application or token number, and your bank account number with IFSC.
- Help: scheme helplines (Subhadra 14678, CM-KISAN 155333, SSEPD 1800 345 7150) and the Sanjog Helpline 155335 for any Odisha scheme.
Application Status vs Payment Status: What Is the Difference?
There are two separate stages, and many people check only one:
| Stage | What it tells you | Where to check |
| Application status | Whether your form was received, verified, approved or rejected | The scheme’s own portal (with Aadhaar, application or token number) |
| Payment status | Whether money was sent to your bank, and whether the bank accepted or returned it | Your bank passbook/SMS, PFMS Know Your Payment, PFMS DBT Status Tracker, Odisha iFMS payment history |
An “approved” application does not always mean the money has arrived. Payments are released on fixed dates, and the bank can return a payment if your account is closed, inactive or not seeded with Aadhaar. So if your application shows approved but you see no money, move on to the payment and bank checks below.
Information You Need Before Checking
- Aadhaar number and the mobile number linked to Aadhaar — most Odisha portals send an OTP to this number.
- Application number, token number or beneficiary ID from your acknowledgement slip (CM-KISAN accepts Aadhaar or Token Number; Madhu Babu Pension accepts Application Number or Aadhaar).
- Bank account number and IFSC of the account where you expect the money (needed for PFMS and Odisha Treasury checks).
- Passbook or bank SMS to confirm whether a credit has already come.
Where to Check Official Payment Status in Odisha
Use only these official websites. Each scheme has its own status page:
| Scheme / service | Official status page | What you enter |
| Subhadra Yojana | subhadra.odisha.gov.in → Citizen Login | Aadhaar number + OTP on Aadhaar-linked mobile |
| CM-KISAN (earlier KALIA) | cmkportal.odisha.gov.in → Check Your Status | Aadhaar or Token Number + captcha |
| Madhu Babu Pension Yojana | SSEPD → Track Madhu Babu Pension Yojna Application | Application Number or Aadhaar Number |
| State scholarships | scholarship.odisha.gov.in → Know Your Status | Aadhaar number or Application No. + OTP |
| Any central/state DBT payment | PFMS Know Your Payment | Bank name + account number + verification code |
| Odisha Treasury payments | iFMS Odisha → Beneficiary’s Payment History | Financial year + account number + IFSC + OTP |
Subhadra Yojana
Open the Subhadra portal, click Application Status (ଆବେଦନ ସ୍ଥିତି), enter your Aadhaar number and log in with the OTP. The portal says the status becomes available 24 hours after the form is submitted. Instalments of ₹5,000 are paid on Rakhi Purnima and on International Women’s Day (8 March). Full details are in our Subhadra Yojana 2026 guide.
CM-KISAN (KALIA)
Farmers’ support is now paid under CM-KISAN. Go to Check Your Status on cmkportal.odisha.gov.in, enter your Aadhaar or Token Number and the captcha, and click Show. You can also see the village-wise Beneficiary List. Read our KALIA / CM-KISAN 2026 guide for eligibility and instalment details.
Madhu Babu Pension Yojana
Use the SSEPD application tracker with your Application Number or Aadhaar Number to see whether your pension is sanctioned. Under the scheme rules, pension is paid on the 15th of every month (Jana Seva Divas), and newly sanctioned pensioners are paid to an Aadhaar-linked bank account. See our Madhu Babu Pension Yojana 2026 guide for the current amounts.
State Scholarships
On the Know Your Status page of the State Scholarship Portal, enter your Aadhaar number or Application No. and confirm with the OTP. Scholarship money from the Odisha portal can also be tracked on PFMS (see below). For this year’s dates, read our State Scholarship 2026-27 last date update.
DBT and Bank Checks: Did the Money Reach Your Account?
1. PFMS Know Your Payment
- Open PFMS Know Your Payment (Payment by Account Number).
- Type the first few letters of your bank name and select it.
- Enter your account number twice and the verification code. An OTP may be asked (the page offers OTP through the Sandes app).
- The result shows payments sent to that account, transaction by transaction.
2. PFMS DBT Status Tracker
The DBT Status Tracker shows whether a beneficiary was validated and whether a payment went through. Choose the category — it includes Scholarship Portal of Odisha DBT, State Scheme DBT Portal, PMKISAN and NSP — pick “Payment”, then enter your Application ID, Beneficiary Code or account number. PFMS says results cover the last 2 years. PFMS helpdesk: 1800 118 111.
3. Odisha Treasury (iFMS) Beneficiary’s Payment History
The Odisha Treasury website has a Know your Payment Status service. Select the financial year (for example 2026-2027), enter your account number, IFSC and captcha, and click Send OTP to see the payment history. iFMS helpline: 1800 3456 739.
4. Aadhaar Bank Seeding Status
DBT money is routed to the bank account that is seeded with your Aadhaar in the NPCI mapper. On myAadhaar, choose Check Bank Seeding Status and log in with the OTP on your Aadhaar-linked mobile. UIDAI notes that this information comes from NPCI. If no bank is shown, or the wrong bank is shown, visit your bank branch and fill its Aadhaar mandate and consent form so that the bank can seed the account.
5. Your Own Bank
The simplest check is still your bank: SMS alerts, passbook update, ATM, Bank Mitra/micro-ATM, or net/mobile banking. If a payment appears on PFMS as sent but not in your account, ask the branch whether it was returned and why.
Common Reasons Scheme Money Is Not Received
| Problem | What to do |
| Aadhaar not seeded / seeded to another bank | Check on myAadhaar; ask your bank to seed the right account with NPCI |
| Bank account inactive, dormant or closed | Visit the branch, complete KYC and reactivate the account |
| Name on Subhadra’s “NPCI reject list” | Link Aadhaar to your bank account; the list is on the Subhadra portal by district, block and GP |
| e-KYC not done (CM-KISAN, Subhadra) | Complete e-KYC by OTP, face authentication or biometric at a CSC / Mo Seva Kendra |
| Application rejected or still under verification | Check the status message on the scheme portal and correct the reason given |
| Payment date not yet reached | Schemes pay on fixed occasions (e.g. Subhadra on Rakhi Purnima and 8 March; MBPY on the 15th); wait for the official release |
Subhadra publishes a separate NPCI reject list (Bank A/c activation or update required list). The portal asks women on that list to link Aadhaar with their bank account to receive the money. Subhadra also needs a single-holder account in the woman’s own name.
How to Raise a Grievance
If your status is unclear or the money has not come after the official release, complain in this order:
- Scheme grievance portal or helpline: Subhadra has its own grievance login (Aadhaar + OTP) and helpline 14678; CM-KISAN uses the Krushi Samrudhi Helpline 155333; SSEPD (Madhu Babu Pension) helpline is 1800 345 7150.
- Sanjog Helpline: call toll-free 155335 or 1800 345 6770 to register and track grievances about Odisha government schemes (OCAC Sanjog page). On the scholarship portal it is listed as working 9 AM to 5 PM on official days.
- Jana Sunani: file a complaint on the state Public Grievance Redressal Portal, through its WhatsApp chatbot 6370951930, by letter, in person, or at a Mo Seva Kendra. You get a unique ticket number, and you can track it on the complaint status page.
- Block, ULB or district office: the BDO/ULB office, or the CDPO office for Subhadra, can check your record locally.
Our tip: mention your Aadhaar-linked mobile number, application or token number, bank name and the last four digits of your account in every complaint. Never share your full bank details, OTP or PIN with anyone who calls you claiming to be from a scheme.
Avoid Duplicate Applications
Applying again does not make the payment faster; a second record can slow down verification.
- Subhadra: if you applied earlier, the official FAQ says you do not need to apply again.
- CM-KISAN: only one member per family (all members of one ration card) can be a beneficiary.
- Madhu Babu Pension: a person already getting another government pension is not eligible.
- If something is wrong in your record, use the scheme’s correction or grievance option instead of filing a fresh application.
Scheme-Specific Verification
Each scheme checks different things before paying. Make sure your record passes these checks:
| Scheme | Key checks before payment |
| Subhadra | Aadhaar data, e-KYC, single-holder Aadhaar-seeded DBT account in the woman’s name |
| CM-KISAN | e-KYC (OTP or biometric), ration card, AgriStack Farmer ID for new registrations, Aadhaar-linked account |
| Madhu Babu Pension | Sanction by the BDO/ULB office, Aadhaar-linked bank account for DBT |
| State scholarships | Institute verification, Aadhaar and bank details on the application |
The state’s DBT Odisha portal shows that, as of 26 October 2026, about ₹10,287 crore has been paid through DBT in 2026-27. It is an information dashboard; individual status must be checked on the scheme portals above.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Odisha scheme payment status 2026?
It is the record of whether the money under an Odisha government scheme has been sent to your bank account. You check it first on the scheme’s own portal (application stage) and then through PFMS, Odisha Treasury or your bank (payment stage).
How can I check it online?
Open the scheme’s official status page (Subhadra Citizen Login, CM-KISAN Check Your Status, the SSEPD Madhu Babu tracker or Scholarship Know Your Status) and enter your Aadhaar or application number. For the actual credit, use PFMS Know Your Payment or iFMS with your account number.
What documents or details are required?
Your Aadhaar number, the mobile number linked to Aadhaar for OTP, your application or token number, and your bank account number with IFSC. No fee is charged on these official status pages.
How long does the process take?
It depends on the scheme. Subhadra status appears 24 hours after submission, but money comes only on the fixed instalment dates. Madhu Babu Pension is paid on the 15th of each month once sanctioned, and CM-KISAN in instalments announced by the government.
What should I do if the application, payment or status is not showing?
Recheck the number you entered and wait 24 hours after submitting. Then check your Aadhaar bank seeding and make sure the account is active. If money is still missing after the official release, raise a grievance with the scheme helpline, Sanjog (155335) or Jana Sunani.
Where can I get official help?
Use the helplines in the table above, or visit your BDO/ULB office or a Mo Seva Kendra.
