Yes. In OPSC’s current advertisements (such as Ayurvedic Medical Officer, Geologist and Lecturer), the ₹700 fee is refunded, but only if you actually appear in all papers of the written exam. The OPSC exam fee refund is paid after the written exam, back to the same card, UPI, net banking or wallet you paid with.

What to do:

  1. Open your advertisement on the OPSC website and read the “Examination Fee” paragraph.
  2. Appear in every paper of the written exam. Missing even one paper means no refund.
  3. Wait until the written exam is fully over; refunds are issued “in due course” after that.
  4. If it does not arrive, call the OPSC technical helpline (0671-2304707 or 0671-2304141) with your payment reference.

SC and ST candidates do not pay this fee, and the AEE (GATE-based) recruitment has no fee at all.
