An Odisha EWS (Income and Asset) certificate is valid for one year from the date of issue, as per the Revenue and Disaster Management Department’s 2019 instructions. The certificate also states the year it is valid for, and it is based on your family’s income in the previous financial year.
How to check and renew:
Look at the “Valid for the year” line and the issue date on your certificate. You can re-download it from e-District Odisha under Track Application Status.
Read the job or admission notice to see which financial year’s certificate it asks for.
There is no automatic renewal. Apply again online for the Income and Asset Certificate with your latest income papers and RoR.
The new certificate is free and has an official time limit of 10 working days, so apply early.
If your certificate is more than a year old, apply for a fresh one before your next application deadline.
